Meet Lana – About Our Hairstylist and Make-Up Artist
Jullanar is a hairstylist and make-up artist who provides educational hair and skin care services in the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia region. She is experienced in styling natural and relaxed hair and a certified make-up artist who provides services for all skin types and complexions.
Her professional training began at Aaron's Beauty Academy in Waldorf, MD. She has worked in numerous salons experiencing the good, bad, and ugly in salon life, all in strides to become the most proficient and knowledgeable hairstylist in her field.
Her natural talent to do hair and make-up and ability to do what she loves increased even more when she furthered her knowledge by studying under the likes of international stylist and educator Dave Ray aka "The beauty surgeon", Kim Conner (master tailor and weave extraordinaire), Patrick Bradley (educator hair artist & MUA) and Lyle Moore (certified MUA and master stylist). All of these professionals have inspired her through their teachings and works. Jullanar's own extensive knowledge and experience has made her one of the elite among the stylists in her region.
Jullanar's goal as a stylist is not only to provide quality services;
but also teach young girls and women the importance of proper hair care. Her heart really goes out to the miseducation of women in regards to loving and learning their hair. Fueling her desire to change the world one head at a time by adding beauty, confidence and last but not the least fierceness!
